Many early Autism Awareness campaigns used the slogan “Help Solve the Puzzle (of Autism)”

The puzzle represents the ambiguity and mystery around the causes and understanding of Autism.

The puzzle piece is often used in graphics for Autism and Autism treatment.

The puzzle pattern of this ribbon reflects the mystery and complexity of autism.

The different colors and shapes represent the diversity of the people and families living with this disorder. The bright yellow colors in the autism ribbon are signals of hope through research.

The Royal Blue has also become the recognizable color of Autism Awareness and is the primary color of The JT Foundation and Team for Autism.
